Thanks to Ruben Cantu for introducing me to this.  I was too late to catch it live this week but next Weds. late afternoon/early evening (4 to 8 pm) I will be tuning in.

One of the reasons this is so appealing to me; I just like seeing the overstuffed lair that these dudes are chilling in.   They seem to be having a good time with their records.   

Skratch Aquarium seems an apt moniker.  I could just have this vibing in the background and zone out on the turntablism whenever I needed a break, much like the serenity that comes from a well kept fishtank.

Saw this band at the Bottle with Mitchell, Jeff and a friend of Mitchell's whose name I forgot.

They were real good.  And the album is a real scruffy charmer.  I am seriously considering going back to the Bottle on Friday April 5 when they swing back through...
